Study for your IELTS qualification at Avalon
Avalon’s IELTS teachers are experienced and enthusiastic.
- This course is suitable for: students who are studying or have completed upper-intermediate level
- Already got an IELTS score? You will need an IELTS result of 5.0 or higher to join this class. Students with lower scores will be advised to study in General English and Academic Studies first.
- Course dates: available all year – start any Monday
- Timetable: 10.30-12.20 & 1.30-3.20 Monday-Friday
- Number of lessons per week: 10
- Optional extra classes:
General English upper-intermediate or advanced at 09.30/12.30/3.30
Advanced writing at 09.30/12.30/3.30 - Recommended course length: 8-16 weeks depending on your level at start and score required

IELTS exam fee: approx. £115 depending on the Test Centre
How to book an IELTS exam
- Visit the IELTS official website www.ielts.org
- choose ‘Find an IELTS test’ at the top right of home page
- select ‘by location’, choose UK, London
- the centre may ask for a copy of your passport (photo page) and 2 passport-type photos
