    Organising your trip

    Step 1

    Choose your flights

We advise that you arrive before 6pm so that you have time to get to your accommodation.
You can start your course at Avalon any day (Monday - Friday) so you don't have to fly at weekends. London is served by 5 airports; Heathrow, Gatwick, Luton, Stansted and London City Airport. It takes approximately 1 hour to travel from central London to all airports by train, apart from London City Airport which is in the Docklands area - close to the centre.

    Step 2

    Decide on accommodation

Accommodation gets booked up early in London, so decide on your accommodation and
our Accommodation Officer, Karolina, will book it for you. You will need to pay a non-refundable
deposit for accommodation. We use an agency for homestay and shared student housing.
Our preferred Student Residence has excellent facilities and is just 25 minutes away by tube.
    We can offer:

    • Homestay
    • Shared student housing
    • A Student Residence
    • Two weeks before you arrive, you will receive a map showing the accommodation location, travel instructions from the accommodation to school and a 24 hour emergency number for homestay bookings.

    Step 3

Arrange transport to and from the airport. We can provide quotes for:
    • Coaches & midibuses
    • Taxis
    • Groups with a small amount of luggage can keep costs down by travelling from Heathrow Airport by tube - which is significantly cheaper (around £4 each way).

    Step 4

Decide on the best course for your group

Would you like your students to attend speaking classes or exam preparation classes?

Would you like your group to study together or to be separated into multi-national classrooms?

The afternoon rate is cheaper. On arrival at school, students will be given a short written and speaking test by a Senior Teacher. Reception will then give them placement cards for classes. We have classes for all levels in the morning and afternoon.
