IELTS is an internationally-recognised level test of English. Candidates are scored for reading, writing, listening and speaking separately and receive a total score in bands 0 - 9. To apply to a UK university, non-native speakers are typically asked to prove language ability with an IELTS score of 6.5 or 7.0. Some universities and courses require a higher score.
IELTS exams are held every month in London. Avalon can help you book your exam at a nearby offical Test Centre. The exam costs around £105 and must be booked 3 weeks in advance.
