The Avalon School of English, based in central London, requires part time Teachers with at least a CELTA. Flexible working hours. Would suit Teachers who want to work and study.

The Avalon School of English has vacancies for several part time TEFL Teachers. These positions are initially for a period of six months, leading to permanent positions.
Three to five hour shifts mornings or evenings - Monday to Friday.
Extra hours available to cover teachers on holiday or sick leave.
Full time teaching positions will become available as vacancies arise.
The Avalon School of English is a busy central London School, with over 600 students and 45 teaching and support staff.

 

Qualifications:


Good degree and RSA, Trinity or Cambridge TEFL certificate qualifications essential.
At least one year class room experience preferred.
Avalon does consider applications from newly qualified TEFL Teachers seeking their first English teaching position, when such vacancies arise.
London based, native English speaking applicants only please.

Compensation:


Teaching Avalon Direct English classes

Six month contract pay scale :

Entry level pay per hour is £7.69 for the first month.
Entry level pay per hour is £8.20 for months two to six.

Extended contract pay scale after your first six months contract has been successfully completed and appraised.

Pre - Level 1 Teacher pay per hour is £8.46.
Level 1 Teacher pay per hour is £8.71.
Level 2 Teacher pay per hour is £9.74.
Level 3 Teacher pay per hour is £10.25.

Non - Avalon Direct English classes, such as all the Cambridge and LCCI preparatory courses, attract a supplement of £2.50 paid above the basic hourly rate.

20 days paid holiday plus all Bank holidays paid per 12 months of continuous employment.

Paid five day training course ( 15 hours / £100 ) for all applicants offered employment
