ロンドンを移動するのに一番早く、便利な方法は公共の交通機関を利用することです。地下鉄、バスの駅、またはニュースエージェントなどで、１日から１週間、１ヶ月の定期券を購入することができます。１ヶ月の定期を購入する際は、パスポートサイズの写真が必要です。 ロンドンは６つのゾーンに別れていて、いくつのゾーンを越えるかによって運賃が変わってきます。

すべてのバスは正面にルート番号と行き先が表示されています。
バスは朝６時半頃から深夜１２時３０分頃間で運行しています。
深夜を過ぎると正面にNと表示されたナイトバスを利用することができます。地下鉄は朝５時３０分頃から深夜１２時３０分頃まで運行しています。週末はもう少し遅くまで運行しています。最寄の駅にて詳しい運行時間を確認することができます。
学生割り引きカード
もしあなたが１８歳以上で、週１５時間以上のフルタイムコースの生徒であれば、ロンドントランスポートの学生割引を受けることができます。このカードを申し込むことによって週、または１ヶ月の定期が３０パーセントまで
割引になります。申し込み用紙はレセプションにてご用意しております。
申し込みにはパスポートサイズの写真が必要になります。また申し込み料に５ポンドかかります。用紙の記入方法などはレセプショニストにお尋ねください。
このカードはお申し込みをされて約２週間で届きます。
携帯電話
ロンドンに長く滞在される場合は、お手持ちの携帯電話がそのままイギリスで利用できるか確認してこられるといいでしょう。もし利用可能な場合は
SIMカードを購入するだけでそのまま利用できます。このSIMカードは携帯電話専門店にて購入できます。購入した時点でイギリスでの携帯電話番号が渡されます。もし携帯電話をお持ちでない場合は、これらの携帯電話専門店で購入することができます。しかしながら、ロンドンでは携帯電話の盗難が増発していますので取り扱いには十分気をつけてください。
郵便
郵便局は通常、月曜日から金曜日、朝９時から夕方５時までの営業です。
支店によっては土曜日も営業しています。 切手はニュースエージェント、スーパーマーケットでも購入できます。
