Small Group
Maximum 12 students in Quantum Classes
New Work Class
New target language is presented in a 50 minute ‘New Work’ class. This involves expanding vocabulary and knowledge of grammar construction. Key to the Quantum Method, however, is the classroom focus on pronunciation. The teacher asks questions to individual students and their answer is corrected then repeated. More natural forms of pronunciation are suggested, studied and practised with the whole class working together.
Revision Class
In a revision class students review and consolidate previous lessons. The focus of these classes is to improve fluency and natural spoken English. Revision hour also includes role play exercises, vocabulary development of phrases and idioms, quizzes, test preparation and much more.
Track your progress
You will have a Listening test in class and a Speaking test with an Academic Manager after every two units of each book.
Materials
Students use Avalon Quantum English books 1 – 4.
Beginners start with book 1 and progress to Upper-Intermediate/Advanced level by the end of book 4.
