Avalon School of English is located in the centre of London. It takes less than 5 minutes to walk from one building to the other. The school is easily accessible by bus, tube and train. The nearest tube stations are Leicester Square and Tottenham Court Road. World famous tourist attractions such as Trafalgar Square, the River Thames, Buckingham Palace and Big Ben are all a pleasant 10-20 minutes walk.
Flexibile Course Studies
Avalon offers more course flexibility than other schools. Avalon employs over 30 teachers and offers classes from 9.30 to 20.20. Every day our timetable includes 70 hours of speaking classes, 30 hours of skills classes, 7 hours of Business English and 10 hours of exam classes.
That’s a lot of choice! Our modular system of classes is extremely popular because students can build a programme to suit their lifestyle and interests.
If you ask any Avalon student what they love about the school, one of the top answers will be, its course flexibility. Students are able to enrol and change courses as and when they require and can try different english courses to find out which is right for them. Unlike most schools, our students may change between morning, afternoon and evening classes without restrictions.
Teaching and Learning Methods
Unlike other schools in London, speaking is at the heart of everything we do. That’s why if you ask any student which English school in London can teach you how to speak English, there is only one answer; Avalon.
Our aim is to get our students in London speaking English quickly. Avalon’s unique direct method gives students enough confidence to go out and communicate in English after their very first week. The method is suitable for every level. Book 1 is for beginners and takes around ten weeks to complete. By the end of Book 1 students can speak with confidence in the present, past and future tenses. After Book 1 there are three more books. Students of all levels can join Avalon classes at any time.
Finally, Avalon has a brilliant team of teachers who make learning fun.
