Important Reminder - Christmas & public holidays

Monday 30th August is a Bank Holiday in the UK. Avalon will be closed on Monday and re-open on Tuesday at 9am.

Christmas Holiday: 17th December is the last day of term. School starts again on Tuesday 4th January (Monday is a public holiday).

Higher Education Courses

Avalon's Higher Education courses are QCA accredited. Duration: 40 weeks plus holidays.

  • Business Management Diploma Part 1 module Organisational Behaviour starts on 20th September.
  • Diploma in Travel, Tourism & Hospitality Management, Diploma Part 1 (NQF level 5) starts on 3rd January 2011.
  • £975 for each 10 week module

Avalon is an 'A' rated education provider on UKBA's Tier 4 sponsor register. We have been in business for 17 years and are accredited by the British Council for our General English courses and by ABE (The Association of Business Executives) for our vocational business courses. Avalon is also a member of English UK.

Avalon is approved to provide:

  • General English Courses
  • IELTS and other exam preparation classes
  • Higher Education levels 5 & 6 (accredited by ABE)

Apply for a General Student Visa if:

  • you have evidence to prove your level of English is at CEFR B1 level (IELTS 3.5) or higher.
  • you have enough funds to pay your course fees and your living expenses for the duration of your stay (£800 per month).
  • you have been accepted onto a course of study and have a Confirmation of Acceptance of Studies (CAS) reference number issued by the Avalon.
  • your course is for a minimum of 15 hours per week and leads to a formal qualification.
  • you do not intend to work more than 10 hours a week
  • you intend to complete your course and attend 100% of your lessons unless granted holiday leave or authorised absence.

Apply for a Student Visitor Visa if:

  • you have enough funds to pay for your course fees and your living expenses for the duration of your stay.
  • you have been accepted onto a course of study and have an enrolment letter from the school.
  • you do not intend to work.
  • your course is less than 24 weeks.
